I scouted and set up the shoot myself, choosing a forested outdoor location to contrast the refined, luxury nature of the product with a natural, textured environment. The primary challenge was managing backlit conditions — most of the available light was coming from behind the subject, so I worked carefully to coax the light through the bottle and make the glass itself part of the composition. I used a bold red accent to echo the energy of the Dior brand and create a strong focal point within the natural setting. The result is a series of images that feel polished and intentional without losing the rawness of shooting on location.
I set up and shot the entire series myself in my room, which meant working with whatever natural and artificial light was available rather than a controlled studio environment. The main challenge was backlit conditions the primary light source was coming from behind the product, so I experimented with positioning and angles to use that light intentionally, letting it refract through the glass bottle and become part of the composition. I introduced a red accent in the environment to echo the energy of the Dior brand and create a bold focal point. The constraint of shooting in a non-studio environment ended up pushing me to be more creative with the setup than I might have been otherwise.
